Kayaking
There is no better way to truly take in all that this pristine shoreline has to offer than by viewing it from a kayak. We are now offering guided group daytrips available to both guests and non-guests. For more information on our kayak rentals and guided trips click here.
Walking/Hiking
Whether high or low tide, rain or shine, walking & hiking is the perfect year round activity here. Stroll along the rocky shore heading west and you'll discover a picture perfect sandy beach. Venture out onto the wooded trails to a panoramic lookout of Chedabucto bay and carry on further to Fogherty Lake.
Our trails are always a work in progress but they are something we take a lot of joy in maintaining and offering our guests.
Peddlin' & Paddlin'
As a way of saying 'thank you for choosing us', we happily provide our guests with two bikes and two stand-up paddle boards to play with while here.
We recommend packing a picnic and biking over to Half Island Cove's picture perfect sandy beach. On your way back, stop for some ice cream at Hanham's Gas & Convenience.
On a calm day, plop yourself on a SUP, float around in the cove and gaze at at all the wonders beneath the crystal clear water.
